Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

TELESIS Corp. has a currently looking for a business process analyst subordinate who will fulfill the need of a CMMI/ISO Subject Matter Expert to directly support the company to document processes and compliance. TELESIS holds multiple ISO standards ( ISO 9001:2008, ISO 20000:2013, ISO 270001: 2013) and CMMI Level 2 and CMMI Level 3 certifications and the person needs to be versatile in adapting to the varying requirements.
The successful candidate will have some background in operational audit. Knowledge of ISO standards and CMMI is desirable. This hands on role is responsible for coordinating and carrying out internal audits to provide independent assurance of the effectiveness of internal controls, customer requirements and applicable international standards.

The candidate will work with the various business divisions to conduct activities to reacquire and maintain the current maturity level, pursue new quality initiatives and provide support as needed for various compliance initiatives that may surface from time to time. The candidate will report to the Director of Quality. The candidate must be a creative, highly motivated person who is able to work independently or as part of a team. It is essential that the candidate has a pragmatic and detailed approach as well some audit experience ideally gained in an IT or service Provider Company. The role has a broad scope with exposure to an extensive range of business operations and it is essential that the candidate has an excellent appreciation of key business functions.

Position responsibilities to include, but are not limited to the following:
” Researches and writes high-level technical support documentation including policies and procedures
” Coordinates input from stakeholders
” Independently interacts and follows up with personnel at all levels
” Maintains paper and computer based filing system designed to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, or revision of existing documents
” Manages or supports problem resolution efforts
” Provides periodic training
” Operates and maintain a rolling internal audit program for all management systems
” Assist in development and review of the audit plan, making updates and adjustments as required
” Create high quality audit reports and present these to the business in writing or orally
” Through internal audits, continuously assess departmental processes and consequently support their re-definition/streamlining to achieve greater operational efficiency and effectiveness
” Support the business in defining appropriate corrective actions to resolve any reported non-conformances
” Monitor the timely resolution of any reported non-conformances, ensuring non-conformances are appropriately progressed and closed
” Assist with the handling of all other external audits and responses to customer’s enquiries

Candidates must possess the following experience and skills:
” Minimum 1-2 years’ experience dealing with ISO and/or CMMI Level 2 requirements
” An understanding of the CMMI process areas, goals, objectives, and best practices.
” Some project management experience
” Experience controlling organizational documentation
” Experience in risk and opportunity management activities
” Ability to analyze, author, or edit business and technical processes
” Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a challenging and fast-paced environment
” Ability to manage schedules and prepare status reports.
” Ability to assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet defined improvement goals and objectives
” Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships internally and externally
” Experience with other recognized Quality/Performance Management program(s).
” Technical Skills proficiency in an Information Technology, Information Assurance, or Cyber Security discipline
” Ability to work in SharePoint and MSOffice

Educational Requirements
” Bachelor’s Degree
” Proficient in MS applications (Visio, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Word)
” ISO/CMMI Certifications prefered
