Contracts Administrator


  • Provide full cycle contracts and subcontracts management to include review, preparation, administration, performance monitoring, and contract/ subcontract modification activities (i.e. preparation and review of MOUs, Teaming Agreements, Addendums).
  • Able to perform cost analysis in support of program.
  • Monitors and ensures contractual commitments are met (e.g. budget/cost, service availability, responses, reports).
  • Negotiates, administers, extends, terminates, and renegotiates contracts (including but not limited to NDAs, TAs, Subk, Vendor Agreements, MOUs, etc.) for management approval.
  • Performs contract/subcontract preparation, and contract compliance reviews to determine compliance to contractual obligations.
  • Organizing and tracking contractual documents, requirements, and deliverables in order to ensure full compliance throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Evaluates/monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts.
  • Responds to contractual requests from external and internal stakeholders.
  • May serve as a liaison to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations.
  • Completes the negotiations of contracts with customer or bidder.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
  • Providing timely support to departments within the organization on contract-related matters.Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
  • 5+ years’ experience overseeing Federal government prime contracts and/or subcontracts.
  • Knowledge of the organization and functions of an information technology business operation.
  • Knowledge of and experience with: FAR, DFARS, Other agency supplements, Applicable U.S. laws and regulations
  • Experience working with a variety of contract and subcontract types including: Cost-Reimbursement, FFP, T&M/LH, Hybrid, ID/IQs and others
  • Superior analytical, strategic, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal technical staff, peers, and management, as well as externally with customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be deadline driven.
  • Must be able to work independently and have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to take ownership of work/tasks assigned and see them through completion.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies is a must.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must have a general aptitude to learn and master software and systems as the need arises.
  • Must have a high level of professionalism and seek opportunities to grow.
  • Strong spreadsheet and word processing skills using Microsoft Office. Experience with MS SharePoint and Deltek a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment, and handle and meet multiple deadlines and priorities.Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university.
